The Montreal Ice Storm also represents Quebec at the highly prestigious Brick tournament in Edmonton, a tournament where the top minor atom players from across North America gather to play in the West Edmonton mall. In 2006, the 1996 Montreal Ice Storm made it to the finals before falling to Team Brick in the championship game. This followed on the heels of a strong showing in 2005, when the 1995 Montreal Ice Storm team missed the semis by one goal in a tie-breaker. In 2007, the 1997 Montreal Ice Storm also had a strong tournament and missed the semis in a tiebreaker. The 1998 Montreal Ice Storm are getting ready to return in 2008 to maintain this great Ice Storm tradition. See more information on the Brick tournament under "The Brick Tournament" on the sidebar menu.
The 2008 season promises to be another exciting one. The Montreal Ice Storm will be hosting its second annual Girls' tournament in Montreal May 16-18. The 1998 boys' team will be going to the Brick tournament in Edmonton in July. And all the other Ice Storm teams will be out there this spring and summer competing hard in tournaments all over North America and having lots of fun.
Good luck to all during the 2008 season and have fun !
